80 Years of the Republic: Happy June 2nd!

Tomorrow, June 2nd, 2026, Italy celebrates a historic milestone: the 80th anniversary of our Republic. It was 1946 when our country chose a new beginning, building its foundation on a Constitution that, from its very first article, places work at its center.

Often, between writing lines of code, meeting deadlines, and launching new projects, we forget to look back.

From 1946 to the Modern Web

The concept of “work” has changed radically over these eight decades. From post-war reconstruction and massive manufacturing plants, we have transitioned into the information age and the digital revolution.

Today, working also means building intangible infrastructures, connecting people worldwide, and digitizing our excellence (especially here, in our precious Marche region). But the spirit of sacrifice, creativity, and the drive behind the “Made in Italy” brand remain exactly the same as in 1946.

A Day to Pause

In observance of this national holiday, I am taking a short break from development and screens to recharge my batteries and enjoy the day.

To all my international clients, colleagues, and partners who work with Italian companies every day to innovate and grow our economic fabric: Happy Italian Republic Day!

See you on Wednesday, ready to get back to work with fresh ideas.
